Is there a way to get Showtime working on EMU on db800?

I think you need to use mgcamd 1.25 mate, plus keys.

No I think you need mgcamd 1.25 version only. Now how you get that is unknown as its an older version.

With regard to keys maybe the dreambox keys file would be easier to install or download latest keys via remote, (image dependent).

there is a version of mgcamd 1.25 out there somewhere for an enigma2 box like the dm800, as I did have it at some point.

However when my usb stick died, I lost it and haven't found it again since.

harshy you will need a big dish maybe 2.4 meters to get everything here in Spain i get Showtime with 80cm but i need a 1.9 meter dish to get sky etc..

1.25 or 1.27 will work but right now showtime is down has been for a few weeks , art is open on nilsat ,

i have loaded mgcamd 1.25 and latest key files all in the correct place, i have rebooted db800 and can see the cam. I have switched the cam on but no picture all is dark on showtime, am i missing something?

Same here - also no picture on all "emu available" channels.
When I start Mgcamd-1.25 E2 via DCC & telnet, I can see right keys for EMu channels, but no picture.
Maybe older Mgcamd E2 versions are not for DM800, just for DM7025.(?)

So on my DM800 I still need to run for Showtime MGcamd-1.30 + SBCL_vPlug_Showtime/ART. :blush5:

Open the softcam.key and remove all the ART keys and it will then work assuming you have the correct keys, currently its using 08
