TM6900 can't get SR 30000

For some reason my TM6900 isn't finding anything with a symbol rate of 30000. I have just (after many attempts) updated my Diablo with UW 1.30 but when I scan 1W for HD channels it doesn't find anything with a SR of 30000. I feel like I'm missing something obvious that is stopping me.
My system:

TM6900HD
1.2mtr CM dish
0.3 Invacom quad lnb

I'm situated in Yorkshire UK.

Any thoughts guys?

i'm now getting the hd channels that changed to 30.000
and i have gained eurosport hd but iv'e not checked all the
other channels yet i have only just loaded 1.30

Have you set your LNB frequency to 9.750/10.600?

Thanks guys, turned pilot of and scanned them in ok. Pity it doesn't seem to be in the manual. What is the pilot setting and how are we supposed to know when to turn it off?
