CAM / card reader question

Just starting to experiment with my TM6900. I have a D*gitAlb card, which is correctly recognised in the smartcard slot of the TM6900, but is not when inserted in a Diablo CAM (this *does* work in my Humax HDCI2000). On the other hand, my SRG Viaccess card works fine either in the smartcard slot or the Diablo. Any logical reason for this?

Assuming that your Techno 6900 is patched, have you tried turning off the patch. To turn off the patch go to Menu -> System Information -> with your Remote key in 2004, and this will de-activate the patch, to re-activate the patch again just key in 2004. I hope that this is of some help to you.

Hi Aldo, - no the receiver is "straight out of the box" - so presumably not patched. The problem is obviously not a show-stopper, in that I can shuffle the cards - but I was puzzled to see this apparently contradictory behaviour.

Have you checked that Conax is switched on in the Diablo CAS menu?

You might want to check that you have priority as 1: cards and two : emu.

You can alter this in the utilities section.

I dont think it's a Diablo problem - as I mentioned - in my Humax HDCI2000, it works fine.
