Anyone here with this box able to post up some screen grabs of what the menu system looks like and OSD when watching a channel? The box seems perfect for what I need but I hope it doesn't have a ugly basic looking system display like my quite old Technomate had. If it's a HD receiver surely it should have a nice HD res display like the Humax Foxsat. Also, where is the best and cheapest place to buy. I have found somewhere online selling it for £278.99.
Thanks guys.

It's got the same display and menu structure like the previous models.
While it's not one of the best looking menu's but it's the most easiest and simple menu compared to the rest of the receivers in it's class...

Can this pick up ITV HD by tuning it in, or does it have to be added by a channel list? Thanks

I have both a 6900 super and an original one. The menu's are slightly different. These are from the Super version:

There's now a blind scan option on the main menu.

and the A/V settings menu has options for RF through

and options to set up an IP address for future upgrades perhaps?

As has been previously stated, you can use a channel list out of a 6900 original in a super as they share a common database.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Thanks Bazza, could you by any chance get some pictures of the terrestrial tuning menu and the channel edit functions for terestrial and satellite. Also any pictures of the info banner that appears when changing channels to would be gretly appreciated. Whats the display on the front of the actual STB itself like. Do the numbers appear with the channel name or do they dissappear eventually, leaving just the name?
Thanks again.

You sure that's not the standard TM6900, and not the TM6900SUPER?
I thought the Super version was only out over a week or so.

The manual that comes with the receiver shows loads of sample menus.
Must be the standard TM 6900, but what if the differance ?
Thanks..
