Hi,
Got my 6900Super, brilliant pictures HD superb. Problem with box turning itself off and on every 20 minutes or so. The installer set up main sats and left the minor ones for me. A blind scan takes about 20 minutes on 10E. I have tried to scan 4 times and the box has turned itself off before finishing, which means you have to start again. I removed my dragon in case it was interfering but its still the same. I am trying again now. Will let you know results.
Any tips???

Tried again, no luck, now trying auto scan.

Auto scan worked, picked up 7?? channels. Tring blind again

Mine isn't turning itself off but it is resetting when blind scanning certain satellites. For instance it gets approximately 50% through scanning Eurobird 33E and just resets itself.

Yes, I suppose you could call it resetting. The TV just goes off then comes back on again and the satellite is blank and returns to 13e.
It happens on 10e but I have managed to blind scan 13e 19e and 28e
I will try other sats later and post.

I have been in communication with Technomate this evening. They say that the receiver needs a few adjustments and they are working on it and that you will notice changes from the next software release.

I believe there's a limit to the number of TPs the receiver can hold. Maybe that's what Technomate are looking to fix.

No reply from Technomate yet. I have attatched the 500gig disk which is fine, except everytime the box resets the recording stops. Havent got past 10 minutes yet. Hope theres a fix soon.
