Remote control gone bananas

The remote for my db500 has gone mad...

All the buttons now seem to be asigned to otehr things.

the mute is now the tv button
the ok brings up the cam menus
exit brings up advanced stuff..

what has happened?

how can I reset it back to normal?

Have you tried changing the battery's? Take out the battery's over night and insert new ones in the morning.

If that fails to work then try opening it up, and clean pcb inside.

All sorted...something daft..

Someone from my family (not pointing fingers at my youngest kid .....) had managed to go into the settings and tick the option 'use 72xx remote settings...'

I unticked it, rebooted and everything back to normal.

..my youngest pops up and says..'oh its working again..it wasn't me..'
