dish allign

iv tried alligning my 80cm motorized dish after builders moved it due to work being carried out. Iv installed my dish many times before following echelon guide with no problems even when iv moved house, however today im having trouble finding thorn 0.8 west. Im in london my mount and motor allignment seem ok. Is it possible to use a multimeter and connected up to the lnb to try and find the satallites. im sure the the princible with satfinders are like multimeters..
any ideas help.

Another good tool is a Lazer light leval,or lazer torch ones with a line so as you can make sure your dish system is inline with your pole mount and it goes hand in hand with a compass.
