Humax 5400 and HD TV

Hi all,
I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to HD reception but I recently upgraded my TV and got a nice Samsung 32" HD ready TV.

My trusty old Humax 5400 only has a scart output.

Can I watch HD via my humax receiver?
If so how do I go about doing so?

your tv is ready for hd
but humax5400 c ant receive hd stream , only SD standard definition.
you need a hd receiver with hdmi.
