jail breaking an iphone 3g 2.1 ?

is it posible to jail break an iphone 3g 2.1

i have tryed using

ZiPhoneGUI puts the phone into bootloader but does not load any thing else

iLiberty+ trys to put the phone into bootloader but then cant so i manily put it in to bootloader but iLiberty+ software just keep saying the phone is not in bootloader mode

Ziphone is history - Do not use on a 3G or firmware 2.0 or above.

The site mentioned above carry enough info to help you and carry videos. Take your time and ask questions as you go along. Jailbreaking wont harm your phone - using a old outdated program called Ziphone will!

I did a 3G today using Pwnage Tool 2.1 -- Follow the instructions and its quite easy.

i folowed the read me in your link

used the version of QuickPwn21-1 from the read me in your link
and it worked first go

looks like the problem was with the version of QuickPwn i was using

No UNlock yet for the 3G -- Just Jailbreak -- unlock means you cant use any SIM etc -- Only older iphones can be unlocked now. This could change very soon.
