loader not loading!

Hi Guys,

I am trying to use swloader version 1.012 and I am loading it with OCTAGON_SF518_EMU_AU_V0335_09_10_ 08 which i am assuming is up to date, but it is not doing anything after i turn the receiver on. Can you advise me of any other way, or advise me if I am doing wrong. I have the right port Com 3 in this instance, in the number list next to it (9600, 14400) etc, is there a correct number to use here?, I have it on default 115200 at present. Your help is appreciated.

If it's comparable to SF118-SF318:

Instruction: How to update OCTAGON SF 118 & 318 (STB to PC)
How to do it and what do you need?
Modem eliminator Cable RS-232
SwLoader OCTAGON
Instruction „how to do it“:

Switch off the digital Receiver on the rear panel
Connect the Modem eliminator Cable to the PC
Program: open the SWLoader OCTAGON exe-file
Click to download
it screen’s this new window
Choose the right Software
Now, switch ON the Receiver (on the rear panel)
Please wait up 100% process bar than it screen on the Receiver display “done“
Now switch the Receiver off and close the exe file program

After update please make a „factory setting“ in the menu of the Receiver !

Please Note:
The SW update will not change any user or channels settings!
But after the factory settings it will delete all user settings. That’s why you have to backup your whole user settings.
 Menu  Installation  Factory Settings Backup Settings

after the factory settings you can load all user settings
 Menu  Installation  Load Settings  done

Usually PIN of OCTAGON SF 118 and 318

EMU On/Off password :

menu 9999

Data transfer :

menu 8888

Master Password of MENU :

OCTAGON SF 118 : 0118
OCTAGON SF 318 : 0318

Multifeed Button for using the option of Pre*miere channels:
During the live screen press button F1, please

OCTA LOCK (FAV 8) password : 9876

If it's somewhat comparable with 918 try pressing "key-down" too on the box when switching it on.
