Does anyone from Octagon in Germany read this forum (I'm sure they do)?
It'd be really nice (bitte sehr) if someone could make an educated guess what the incompatibility might be between the SF918 and the Diablo/Underworld post-V1.29. After all, the Diablo is an extremely popular CAM across Europe.

Is a software fix possible and, if so, is it on someone's to-do list?
With various people reporting that it's working for them, I'm worried that maybe my SF918 was one of a batch with sub-spec components...

hi sporidium2 its not your sf 918. there is a compatibility prob.which one will sort it out first who knows

Its not wrong with underworld, its on octagon the problem is...

Octagon doesent read conax cas7 yet either and with that problem was
the octagonguys informed in June and havent done anything about it.
And like neotionbox mention, the dvb subtitle issue was told at the same time.
They seems to prio pvr at the moment but who gives a **** about that
when the box not working at all.
I regret i didint buy another box instead...

My one works fine with the diablo + underworld there has got to be a problem with your box

All of UW updates after 1.29 have probs, and several brands of boxes have probs with it.
Why barking at octagon when obviously UW doesn't create contiguous soft ?

Well, I can appreciate that with limited effort the PVR aspects of the SF918 have been prioritised recently (after all, it was supposedly "PVR Ready" when I bought it 3 months ago).
But now they've got that working, surely its time to go back to the core software and address the issues raised by snurre21?

i been on the octagon forum.its seem like diablo 2.2 update 2.3 has problems.

the diablo 2.3 wifi works ok and it has been tested.after asking and no one come up with an ashwer.i had a deal with a shop to trade in my old cam for a new wifi.i got a good deal.i hope this works.i know its more money for some of as haven't really got.i well like u know if it works

diablo wifi doesn't work as what people say.got it working on un 129 with the new data and keys only on narga.spoke to the shop where ibrought it from he racons that they are going to sort this out.if the cam doesn,t work no one will buy there receiverson the other other they said they got it working.i have ask for the sitting and what you have to do. one person came back.i said not working.but the other people who said they got it working still waiting for a ashwer.
