Error Id Message

Hi,
I have IRCI 5400. I tried to read the channel list from it and it now flashes rA on the display and Error-Id on the TV. Any help will be appreciated.

Try reloading settings Also instead of using R/C Try of and on at the back
or you could try Original firmware

Thanks for the quick reply.Even when I try to reload the settings I still get Error-Id message. It would not switch from the button on the front only from the back. I tried the original firmware but still the same message.

Have you input your box id in whatever settings editor your using ?

Because thats what error id means

No. I only pressed the READ button and it lost it all

To upload settings you have to enter you box type and sys id in the settings editor

From memory your sys id can be found on your box at

menu
installation
status
stb status

Thanks. Unfortunately I can not get into the menu. When I start the box it says rA on the front and two green lights flashing. When I try to upload the settings or firmware I get error Id.

sys id is probably 00160600

But as you only have two green lights flashing you might have a different problem

Have you tried

1. delete all channels
2. firmware reset
3 original firmware

I can not access the memory in any way. Neither through the cable nor through the remote.

This will Defntly Not work work with remote.


Instead of remote !!

turn huumy of at Back, Then Firmware reset !!!

Turn Hummy on at back.
