My DM800 is ace apart from you can't watch any HD channel as the audio is always out of sync. watching football is fine as you never see mouths but tonight i put Britannia High on ITV HD i could'nt watch it was that much out of sync. is it my setting or is this the norm with thede recievers.

Same problem here on all HD channels, a bit better with SPIDF. Not sure if it's a DM800 problem or HD feed...

Same with Humax HDCI2000 and a lot of receivers. Its unbelievable that a professionally manufactured receiver still can't get sound sync spot on with H264. All being rushed to market.

In that case you have to wonder whether there isn't a problem with the feeds ! Is there any known receiver that doesn't have this problem ?

Ideally these receivers would allow for some fine-tuning of the picture/voice sync, I had an old DVD player that could do that.

I've still got my Technomate 6900HD Super and have never had any problems with HD or SD Sync!! I've just read this post and gone through all my HD feeds and they are perfect, including BBC HD.

Sounds interesting, karlpowell, let us know if it helps in your case.

Just to clarify x5 , you say it only works for image on flash, but you say you don't have any delay with nabilo on USB ? I must be missing something, sorry.

its simple whem u use a updated image on flash them the image u have on usb will use the updates not all off them but most
whem u using image on usb its good to make a enigma2 update using BARRY ALLEN

1=go to barry
2=w.i.z.a.r.d for tools
3=enigma2 software update

by doing this 2 steps will help u keep your DM updated and working fine

Ok, loaded, that was fast.
Can't say I see a big change, there is still some delay, maybe a bit less, running Gemini 3.80. Will see if I can find other images to try, I have PLI with B.A.

I tried to flash update (LAN and COM1) with secodstage-67 and I get the following message on dreamup 1-3-3-3-0:

Calculating Checksum......................... ................................. .......

It just hangs there and does not upload the file.

I have Gemini 3.70 installed. (no attached USB stick):

Any ideas?

same here, I have noticed that the delay appears to change slightly over time though, not sure why, but that could indicate some type of "overload".

Guys you should just turn the box off and turn if back on holding the power button on the front. Flash this small file using your web browser just like you would when changing your image. It should be a small addition to the boot loader just like the one we all installed to sort out the over heating. It should not effect any image settings and it should be ok for all images on barry allen.
