For playback select menu>Accessory>USB

Drop down to the recording and hit "OK".
Pressing the PLAY triangle doesn't do anything :banghead:

For standard definition use project X to convert... giving the files a .mpg extension will also work.
HD's alittle more difficult and I'm still trying to find a easy work around. I'll keep you posted.

To playback on my HD200 I just press the play button on the RCU and it lists my recordings.

The recordings seem to be made without any file extensions such as .mpg or .ts.
Adding .mpg doesn't seem to work on SD recordings.
Anyone any ideas as to what format the files (both SD & HD) actually are?

Hi!

What do you mean by Project X?
Is it a software or just writing a "mpg" with file name?

Been experimenting a little. I use 'project x' to demux the stream, which splits the file into 2. 1 video stream .mv2 and one audio stream .mp2. I then use 'tsmuxer' to rejoin the files, this outputs in a proper .ts file. I can then view them using 'VLC media player'. only works on standard definition.

Then I can burn to dvd using Nero 7 or convert to Divx using Dr. DivX.
