Am i correct in stating this model with twin tuners you can record 1 channel and watch another, of course both from the same Satellite. Thanks.

not used the 6900 but with twin tuners both being sat tuners two dishes could be connected each pointing at different satellites but I think one tuner is terrestrial so you could record one sat channel and watch terrestrial I did have a kaon 1000 once twin tuners you could record 6 channels at once the techno is limited to record only one at a time either sat or terestrial if i'm right

im not sure as on the 6900 you can not watch a sat and recored on the terrestrial and i dont think you can on the super , .. good if you can ,

Not quite, you can record a programme and watch a recorded programme at the same time.

Well I may be wrong, but I believe you can watch one channel while recording another - as long as its the same channel - but havent actually tried it myself?:respect-040:

can see how as the handset will not change channel / you can watch a recording . on the pvr , and have a new channel recording at the same time form what i have read . update yes that works just done it

yes post 9 works but post 8 will not m8 . its not the same as you have put sorry .
