onkyo and optoma hd65 bug

few weeks back i got a optoma hd65 projecter and onkyo 506 amp,since the day i got them i have had nothing but problems with some thing called hdmi handshake which is when selecting the sorce the projecter dont pick up the hdmi connection,this seems to be a problem with onkyo and optoma.so today i took back the amp and got a sony str gd820 and workss 100% so a waring to any one out there that is thinking of buying optoma and onkyo think again

Would be intresting to know if its okay on the new TS-XR 606 as this has all the new HDMI protocols built in and was supposed to be the only amp on the market at release date that could handle HDMI x4 without any probs.

The 605 had a massive following and the 606 was claimed to be even better. I followed many converts from 605 to 606 and there only grip with the 606 was that i wasnt as load as the 605.
