Blind search on HD channels???

Is the TM6900 Super REALLY a blind search receiver for HD channels, or is it just a blind search for SD channels? Please, I want to buy one HD receiver and I 'm split the Vantage 8000HD (HD/SD blind search) and the TM6900 Super (?).
