When to buy one?

Hi,
having had to return my faulty TM6900HD super combo a while ago I have the money sitting there doing nothing. I was mightily impressed with the HD picture quality (when it worked) and the blind scan will be helpfull finding footy feeds now Prem has gone.
Question is, to those of you who have one... Is it still "buggy" is it the best there is? Should I wait to see what comes on the market (or is reduced) after Xmas?

i cant stretch to hundreds of pounds and want to see what comes about when the nagra channels go down.

if you already have some sort of digital box use that
in your place ,if i had no box i would buy something real cheap,and use it till i found out whats going on later.whilst i would count the rest of the money ever night
