View Full Version : Mvision HD200 - ITV HD but no sound!

I have started a new thread as my original has probably run to the end.

I have managed to receive ITV HD on my HD200 by doing a manual TP edit as suggested in various threads but have NO AUDIO during program transmission.

Set up as Astra 28E 11428H
Service = 2326
VPID = 3401
APID = 3402
PCRPID = 2326
CAS = ON
HDVID = ON
AC3 = ON

Would appreciate any suggestions please.

I cannot suggest nothing about that yet because they have no transmission at the moment. It says "The service is currently unavailable". When did you expirienced that problem? What time?

best bet is to download one of the MVision channel lists that have ITV HD in there already.

On Wednesday 12/11 at 8.00 pm The Bill and 9.00 pm The Commander were both transmitted in HD.
I received HD picture but no sound.

A couple of posts have reported same problem (no sound) in the past and have gone on to say problem solved without saying how.

Appreciate what you are saying suprapower but would be easier for me to know the TP settings if different from mine as I have fine tuned my listings to suit the family.

Interesting. I will check myself also if I will maybe expirience some problems also with sound on that channel. I also use HD200, so therefor I think it migh also appear in my case.
Do you know maybe when the transmission will be more often? Because it looks like they hardly transmit anything for now. Maybe a couple of hours only per day?

There are no broadcasts listed for today (Friday) . I get a new 7 day listing guide with tomorrow's newspaper. I will list some timings when I get them. It has only been for one or two broadcasts of about an hour duration. Usually 9.00 - 10.00pm UK time but not every day.

Regards the ITV HD transmissions listed for the coming week. Only a couple of programs although total time is probably average.

Sunday 16/11 7.00pm - 8.00pm Brittania High

Wednesday 19/11 7.30pm - 10.10pm Football Germany v England

Will be interested if anybody gets sound with these!
