Recently my friend has been having problems with newer Viaccess cards used in an Echostar 3600 using a Dragon Cam.
This has been tested on both Dorcel TV and also the ***view 4+ card - while the channels show, the sound does not work.
Has anyone else had similar problems with Viaccess cards in their Echostar, specifically the ***view card as this is his newest card?
When the cards have been tested in other CI receivers, they work fine so I believe this to be an Echostar issue.
Perhaps it is time to upgrade to the Topfield 5000CIP as he needs a positioner or loopthrough a newer receiver through the Echostar?
Any help appreciated.
