Sweden will host the opening and final rounds of the 2008/2009 FIS Cross-Country World Cup. Gaellivare will be the opening round this month and Falun the traditional last stop in March 2009. From 22 November to 22 March, the World Cup will visit 17 locations in 11 countries: Sweden, Finland, France, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Canada, Estonia, Russia and Norway.
