troubleshooting

hello,

I have uploaded a firmware on my VN8000S with vision Tools 1.9 and at the end the "GOOD" sign showed up!

and now, when I try to switch on, the VN boots, and then on the TV the screen freezes on a green screen and 2199 are written on the VN! and then it reboots... again and again!

does someone has any clue how to help me!

what version of software and what option you use (upgrade software or upgrade bootloader)?

also for VN8000 use vision tools 2.5 or 2.8... dont use older version!!!
use only S software for VN800S and CIS for VN8000CIS

for repair use SW110, select upgrade bootloader and use vision tools 2.5....

I currently use the 1.53 soft and I always use upgrade firmware, not bootloader!

where can I find SW110?
can you explain me a little bit more how to repair with SW110?

Actually, I use vision tools 2.9 ! so I don't think that the problem comes from that!

If you have got a pay code in you might lose this. I think you will as you are resetting the VN.

thanks but when I try to upgrade the bootloader with SW1.10, it keeps coming with "communication error" and he doesn't start uploading!

can you help me on this?

ps: I use vision tools 2.9

try use 2.5 version....

same problem with version 2.5 !
he keeps going from boot to DE (here i can connect to the STB but when I launch the upload it comes with a communication error), to 2199 to boot again...

any clue?

otherwise, do you know a Satellite receiver compatible with viaccess good quality but cheap :)
