Panasonic profile not working.

Just scan for new channels and try ed to but back the profile for the channels and none are in there. The guide is working all right but not the profile. Read in the manel and says it will be the signal but this is for the guide. Would this be the reason why the profile is not working. Thanks for any answer.

ive just tried it on my panasonic it does work but ive got a good signal

There seems to be a software fault in Panasonic plasmas and LCD's which disable the editing of channel profiles.

It may be a glitch introduced whilst updating the software over the air, but the result is that when you try to edit the profile the screen is unpopulated and the only way to exit the menu item is to turn off the tv.

I rang Panasonic about this and they sent me an SD card to update the software, but my set reported that it was a later version and would go no further.

The version on my set is 1.510 but as stated I believe it is corrupt.

So if anyone wants the SD update file or if anyone knows how to force an update from SD card, please get in touch.
