Iv'e only had my 6900hd super a few weeks and it is not in the manual, also just been on Technomate UK site and no sign of it there either

Sorry - I think I was thinking of my MANHATTAN ST 350 manual re getting remote programmed to TV guys, so I was WRONG that the TM6900HD Super does it - as always use the TM remote itself anyway due to all the 'extras' you get with it which you cant get with 'universal' control!
I personally cant see any point in even WANTING to control your TV too with it, espec as I already do that with my Sly r/c anyway and even that poses some complications unless you actually know which Sly key controls which TV option!:respect-050:

The Technomate TM-6000 HD remote can't be programmed to operate a TV.
It will switch between satellite input and the UHF antenna input.
