Been experimenting to try to convert recorded HD files so they can be played on pc.
1st install a program called 'DGAVCIndex'
run and open file. above open where it says 'All AVC Files' click open 'All Files' next click on the HD recording (eg 'file.001 .002 etc.) on file list click ok. click file then click 'save project and demux'
When done you should have 3 files.
'???.demuxed.264'
'???.dga'
'???.PID 285 3_2ch 384Kbps DELAY ????'
close program.
next open 'tsMuxeR'
click add and add the ???.demuxed.264' and '???.PID 285 3_2ch 384Kbps DELAY???' files.
Then click 'start muxing' this will create a file named '???.demuxed.ts'
this file should be then playable in VLC media player.
Sadly the sound is always out of sync. I'm trying to find a way to fix this. any ideas?
