Hello
Ive always used pet123s settings on my 5400. Id now like to use Giorgio teams settings but Astra and hotbird are the wrong way round and whatever I do I cant fix that. I can change the names but thats no good. One or two others are wrong also. All other settings give similar if not the same problem.
I use hnf smart with menu and antena saved.
Anyone any ideas as my brain seems to be fading.
Thanks

Hi 0c71,
I take it settings are Hotbird then Astra instead of Astra then Hotbird ?
have you tried cutting and pasting the settings with hnf smart.

hi oc71,
one way would be to run two hnfsmarts side by side, load a pet in one and the new file in the other, then check the antenna settings and change where needed, if needed i can run you through it, but its quite easy
all the best

Hello to you both.
Its mainly hotbird and astra the problem is with.
If I open two hnf smarts, the antenna settings are both the same, lnb1 astra and lnb2 hotbird, but in channels pets gives france24-lnb2 hotbird and the other settings gives france24-lnb1 astra.
Any clues

hi oct71,
sorry m8, my BB was down until an hour ago so only just got around to reading my mails, its not the lnb position you need to worry about as such, its the pos (in hnfsmart)
just highlight the one you need to alter, then on the righthand side you will see a box in the disq 1.2 section just change the sat position to the same in the pet settings.

as far as i know the lnb position is only the label, its the sat position that controls the motor

just remember which copy is the one you are working on

hope this helps
