I have just returned from abroad and for some reason all the nag channels on 1w are now scrambled. The latest patch will not clear them.......... Whats happened?

Are you sure your picture quality is good enough? I've found DigiTV channels coming up scrambled when the dish position is just a fraction out.

Also have you left any cams or cards in that might be interfering. Also are you sure the patch is 'on'. Are you also sure that you have the latest TP information?

I take it you can see the FTA channels on this satelite?

Thanks teassoc and holmroad for you help, however i have 92% signal and the latest patch is dated the 18/11/08. The only patch after that date is only for the super series which will not work in my 5400ci. I do not have any cards inserted which may be interfering with it. How can i check that the patch is switched on?

ive kind of got the same problem now but with the newest patch, no digitv is working! it just says scrambled channel!

Check that you only have key 00 an 01 on just one ID.

Some Softcam files (or whatever your patch uses) have 2011 2101 and 2111 for DigiTV. Unless they all have the correct key you will get problems.

At present DigiTV is using the 00 key from 24 Dec as posted in the Nagra keys section.

I don't use a Technomate 5000 but keys are associated with a provider using an ID. Nagra 1 and Nagra 2 use 4 digit IDs and the DigiTV packages use 2011, 2101 and 2111 depending on the emu (or patch) that a receiver uses.

If a key series has 2011 with the correct 00 key but also has 2111 with an old key 00 there is a likelihood that 2111 and the old key might be used thus giving a blank screen.

Over Xmas it seems that an AU version for DigiTV has been released for most emus, so look for a current patch.

Not sure what I've done but did manage to watch DigiTV last night with the latest patch and TM Softcam (second version). Had to load the latter twice though after rebooting.

Holmroad, I did the latest Magic patch update first followed by the TM softcam update - the first one of that day. That didn't work as DigiTV had changed the codes.

I then did another TM softcam update using the second version. That didn't work. After rebooting I did the download again, after deleting an older version from my pen. Then applied it and found DigiTV worked.

Have checked it everyonce and a while and still seems to be working.

So do you use your mem stick to download softcam via usb and NOT the serial cable/1.87 loader then M8 - as I already have LATEST 667 patch loaded anyway?:respect-062:

Maybe later I'l try first switching off the latest 667 patch already installed (via 2004 option in menu) - THEN load softcam using 1.87 loader, then switch patch back on again - will use FIRST softcam as think they using keys in that one at moment?:confused:
