dish keeps going to zero

I had a mortised dish installed by a proffesional installer. But for some reason the dish keeps defaulting to zero when i try and sep up my stb. Never had this happen before whats causing this and how do i stop it.

How old is the motor?

What make is it?

Can you reset it?

I had the same prob with a Manhattan H-H a few years ago, was only over a year old....ended up replacing it.

the motor is brand new its a german make, goldstar or something.

What STB are you using???? Had problems with a "Rotor Sat" on my TM, was the motor in the end and not the STB as I thought.

sounds as if you need to reset it and set the E and W limits

using a db800hd set one up before with a stab h h 120 no problems but this one is not having it.

i will try a reset again
