Navman beeping...HELP please

HELP guys please
I have a Navman Pin570 and can't stop it bleeping!! It's doing my head in.
It beeps when on or off charge, switched on/off or on standby!!
It's going to die by my hand very soon if it doesn't stop!!!

Quick reply will save a Navman from certain DEATH!

Have you tried the reset buttons at the base of the unit ? There is 2 . I think the main on is the right hand side as you turn the unit upside down .This will reset the unit as it was when new ..................I think .
I've used both switches afew times on mine without any damage .
By the sound of yours ..................you've got nothing to lose !

Have tried both resets (soft and hard) and today fitted a new battery, charged.
However, it is still driving me mad. The beeping is from the unit either restarting itself or even switching itself on!
I have kept the thing quiet for now (turned off the volume).

Any help appreciated.

I would of had the blighter for spares . I know someone who needs the scribe thing ......stylus .
