Fortec FS4200..problem

Updating firmware via rs232...I tried everything but no luck.
Any ideas?
No big deal as I got it free but want to mess with it.

if its got a usb socket use that to load channel lists and firmware, its much easier.

I wasted loads of time trying to get the serial rs232 to work with editors and loaders, the usb method worked straight away.

there will be no usb on this model if the receiver is for fta channels only or if using a cam if it works as is leave with old software

It is FTA only no place for cam...so won't use it as I have 2 receivers already...Thank you.
