Evening all.

Does TT always treat their customers with contempt?

Bought a TT One v2 couple of weeks back from T-PDA, it was allegedly a manufacturer refurb. Problems first started when I tried to backup the maps (in Windows, not TT Home) but @ 39% it bumped into a corrupt file and hence no backup, then came a power off reboot fault then unit would loop in a shut down start-up styley unless the SD card was removed

So I gets onto TT and after much messing around they suggested sending it back for service! Today it came back, GREAT... with a letter Dear Dustin, no fault found yada yada yada, lying gits the power down problem seems to be resolved now, however on powering it back up I found the SD card to be empty, no maps no sod all and this AFTER me telling them I couldn't make a backup because of the corrupt file(s) so I get on the blower and have a chat and it a nutshell it was sod off buy new maps not interested :o10:

I'm SO bloody annoyed but what can I do?

Free map?

Thats the problem, they wont give me a free map. All I asked for was the map I bought with the unit but they said no we dont supply "free" maps but I could buy one @ 40 quid.

Cheeky ****heads!

Ah........ that's pretty good. Thought the maps would have been protected somehow!

Cheers zad!

They are - but can easily be sorted out with the easyusetool to activate them :)
