I want to hook up my 6900Hd combo to a HDD and would like advice on a suitable model.I am not too computor literate and I need to back up some files off my computor. Is it possible to share a HDD between computor and sat receiver?Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.TMULL

I have the Iomega 360 gb external H/D WITH POWER SUPPLY, downloads all films and whatever else you wish to record. Check this model out from Comet doing a good deal at £45. Good Luck.

I,m using Western Digital Passport Series, powered by USB only, as recommended by Technomate, there is info on Technomates web site on suitable HD's including how to Format HD. I have had no probs with this (160gb) HD. Technomate recommend you stay under 500gb. Hope this helps.

Have aquired a Western Digital passport 250gb. Pluged it into the Tecnomate straight out of the box and recorded without a problem. Playback is excellent. I assume it is like my iCord in that I cannot remove part of a file but but only a complete one? That one usb on the front is a bit of a problem.TMULL
