got a remote control problem got an intermittent fault ie sometimes the receiver wont respond to the remote leave it a day and then works ok new batteries in remote and remote tested with another manhattan works perfect so its not the remote at fault could it be a stb problem or interference from something else

Can you borrow (swap) the remote with "the other Manhattan" for a couple of weeks ? That would confirm if its the remote or the stb !
