connecting to dm500

reflashed my dm500 by lan when it rebooted the green led is on but nothing on screen, now when i try to connect by lan or null modem nothing connects, by lan just cannot detect ip of dm and by null lead just hangs then power goes off

Any clues or pointers would be most helpful

I'd suggest re-flashing using Dreamup via null modem cable and no LAN connection. When successful you will need to go into expert setting (using scart to TV to view) to change the IP settings to what you want so that you can then use the LAN again.

what image did you flash with last.

i used pli

My m8s dm 500 had the same problem using the pli jade image.I reflashed using a serial cable with the eagle v4 image and dreamup.Now everything is working fine.
