There is feed reported today on 3° west but I can't tune it in. It was reported as 11064 V 9998 MPEG 4 - 4:2:0 - HDTV
But I can't get a signal here on a 120cm dish in SE England.
What results do others get for these 3°w feeds?

Are you certain it was on 3 West, or could it have been on 3 East?
Can you please provide more detail, regarding the feed, is it still broadcasting?
There is an 11064 H 8333 on 3 West, but that's on a South African beam, so not available in Europe.
Here are the listed satellite beams, for 3 West:
There is a test card listed on 11462 V 3062 DVB-S2 QPSK 1/2, that you can try.Code:http://www.absatellite.com/satellite-fleet/abs-3a/
3w getting popular for footy, I get the odd feed on 3w occasionally but not a sniff of epl feeds there using 1.1 in north east. wouldn't be surprised if there are even more there using ns3/ns4 modulation :(
Was that the Utd game? No, I couldn't get it on my 1.5m gibby, I can usually get these, though they are really weak. Not a sniff today, also the City game on 24.5w was weaker than usual too.
Yes, it was the united game feed I tested, so the feed would have only lasted a short time after my post.
I have just tried the test card on 11462 V 3062 DVB-S2 QPSK 1/2, and get a signal even in the heavy cloud cover that I have today. The video shows an ABS logo, so I am definitely on 3°west. The signal is very poor, but it does enable me to peak the dish alignment for 3°west.
Strange that I could not get anything for the football feed yesterday, when the weather was clearer.
Thanks for all the replies
Football feeds, and other sports feeds, are often transmitted at a weaker signal, as we're not supposed to view them, due to copyright deals.
I watched the United game on 30W, not a feed, and you didn't miss a lot, United were poor, again, with the exception of one piece of brilliance, from Pogba, faking a volley and laying the ball off perfectly for Fred to score.
I'm still waiting for Alexis Sanchez to show what he's capable of, I've seen glimpses, with brilliant control, at times, but I thought he needed a pre-season, with United, to get into the groove, but we had the World Cup, so he still hasn't had that, but he should be doing better, by now, so is the problem with Sanchez or the coaching staff?
I am in extreme SE UK with a 1.1 Triax dish and receive 3W.
At the moment reception is awful due to high winds, heavy rain and my dish needs tweaking due to several windy periods battering it.
I am not bothering with the tweaking as I am going to replace the Triax with a 1.25 Gibby which I have ready.
Yes 3W was just about ok for me BBC Motd [ SiS Live ]
Feed for Man U V Wolves
Signal was very low just 8.6db 62% on my 2 meter prime focus dish so again very reduced signal and big dish required like any EPL Feeds that are broadcasting in KU Band , i believe for Copyright reasons etc.. SiS on purpose do reduce their EPL signals right down to bear minimum
i have yet to see any EPL Feed much higher than 9db which pretty much eliminates anyone watching on a smaller size dish below 1.6 meter ,
SiS usually broadcast @ 24.5 WEST , 3 WEST , on a rare occasion 10 East and 28.2 East ,
they choose obscure sats such as @ 24.5 WEST , 3 WEST as they are the most difficult to lock on smaller sized dishes .
There was a period of time a few years back when SiS did not bother to hide their feeds but i believe that day has long gone now : )
I thought I would update this thread as there is another feed for a 3pm game reported on 3°w today - again I can't get any signal at all.
Reported feed details are 11064V 10000 Man City Burn 4:2:0
I have a 120cm dish here in SE England and I get no signal at all in perfect conditions - completely cloudless sky today. I know there are other ways to obtain this match, my interest is in getting these 3°west feeds.
Hi forum members this sounds I’m new to all of this this thread sounds considerably interesting for feed hunting wow I’ll have to have a go when I get my new liniux vu satllite box fron the forum sponsor lee it look a great internet shop I hoping to buy on Monday what a great forum thank u again to the adminstrators
Used to get BBC MOTD feeds @ 50mbit 4:2:2, im guessing the sr10000 feeds on 3w are 18-20mbit. It feels like EPL feeds are being restricted in both PQ for those who can receive them and signal strength requiring much larger dishes for UK reception.
what are the 3w dish requirements in Europe?
Hi I’ve been reading on various intnet sites but a cant really say yet till I do some more reading and get the correct posifterys on all the information once I have it all I’ll get back and post
I LOCKED IT BUT ONLY 9db but stable on my 2 meter prime focus dish , no hope on my 1.2m dish , i would suggest at least 1.6meter offset dish to get a decent solid signal anything less would be a pointless task unless your close to the beam output which i am not for certain .
Due to Che v Man U being on Murdock TV there was only 2 feeds for danish TV on 1W FTA
so no hope to find anything much in KU band as expected ,
Next Sunday Man U vs Everton will be Murdock TV again and Following Saturday Nov 3rd vs AFC Bournemouth will be KU Feeds as its Early BT Sport kick off , then Utd v City Sunday 11th Nov is again Murdock TV so again will not be any KU Band feeds other than IMGA EU feed in Tandberg V3 @ 7E .
The only hope is getting an early Saturday EPL Feed [ 12:30pm ] from BT Sport
or 3pm BBC MOTD KU feeds @ 24.5w or 3W or 10E/28.2E
Anything broadcast on Murdock TV will be 99.99% sure to be a Fiber broadcast and which only requires KU Band IMGA EU feed in Tandberg V3 @ 7E which is safe and secure .
Thanks for confirming the requirements to receive these 3°w feeds. A pity such a large dish is needed.
And thanks for the detailed comments on all Saturday football feeds.
Does that mean you can view the live football feeds, with your 1.1M dish, or just get the satellite?
I can get the ABS test card. Only just. Nothing else. 1.1m dish, ***bria.
@manic01 Thanks for your posts - gives encouragement to me and others to keep checking this 3°w satellite.
To help us further, can you say what maximum dB you get on the ABS test card on 11462v 2061 1/2. I can compare your results to my own signal strength here on my 120cm dish in SE England. On my Duo2/ViX set up I can see the dB by going to menu/setup/Tuner config/Signal finder - might be different on your setup.
There are a few champions league games on 3.0W tonight.
Thanks for that information. I checked one reported EUFA 3°w feed a few minutes ago and it is even stronger than the ABS test card. I suspect that all the champions league 3°w feeds will be similarly strong - but I will check them as they are reported through the day.
The problem is with the Saturday 3pm EPL feeds which are at much lower power.
What would be helpful is if anyone who can get 3°w EPL 3pm feeds would publish what strength (in dB) they get on the ABS test card on 3°w to enable us to make a comparison with our own results.
Good idea, here are today's feeds I got from a blind scan on 3°w
11632v 14807 3/4 8PSK ID+ Fi02 GBIV
11651v 14808 3/4 8PSK ID+ Fi03 GBIV
11668v 14808 3/4 8PSK ID+ Fi04 GBIV
What signal strength do you get on your 110cm dish in South West UK
Thanks for that - helps me compare with my own signal strength here in SE England.
There is another one reported by cikifix on Sat-universe.
3°w 11144v 9875 ID: EBU POR 15
I think this is at a lower power than the three earlier feeds - do you have any information on this one.
Getting hear in Leeds a considbreal signal very powerful this time of the day I spose I will depend we’re u live in the uk some areas are better than others
I noticed this particular satllite is very week and needs a satllite dish 1.2 to 1.5 like its nabour 4 west
There are some new channels, been reported, not by me:
3 West:
12739 v 2/3 13174 DVB-S2 QPSK
rete capri mux fta
I noticed that post about the rete capri mux, and earlier today I scanned in the three channels. They looked useful as they were stronger (for me) than the ABS test card and I thought would be a good marker for this difficult to get satellite.
Then I checked later this afternoon, and got nothing. I've just checked again a few minutes ago and still nothing for me. I don't know if they have reduced power on these channels, or whether they have been pulled from this satellite.
Feed on 3 west today is stronger than I have seen before
ID: MOTD Everton v Brighton
11063 v 10000 3/4 8PSK
I presume biss keys will be in usual places
Feed on 3 west today - no signal here in overcast skies - but I can get video on the ABS test card
Leicester - Burnley (but id is Man City according to posting)
11066 V 10000 4:2:0 (posted by nepgax4o on SU)
Please post other results saying where in UK you are. I am just NW of London - SE England.
Some FA cup feeds FTA on 3.0 west today, good signal levels but that is on a 2.2
Still booming through for me in Swansea
ABS 3A (3.0°W)
11040 V 9998
MPEG 4 - 4:2:0 - HDTV
ID: UKI 1755 Burnley v Fulham
Anybody receiving this? I'm not.
No joy with that feed either with V+Duo2 and 1.1m offset dish. Can get Retecapri on that satellite but only just AGC 42% Signal/Noise 41% in West Mids.
TBF, wouldn't have made any difference m8, all sat receivers would have worked with that SR anyway. The problem will have more likely been dish size/signal strength.
From what I can see there is only 2 between 10,000 and 9,998, which shouldn't be a big difference, and certainly shouldn't stop a receiver scanning in the frequency.
Which make/model receiver are you using manic01?
It would be interesting if others, with different receivers, could add to the debate, to see if they can receive the feeds on 9998, rather than 10000.
Unfortunately I have little chance. of picking up these feeds, on 3 West, due to location.
Just run a blind scan on 3W using 1m Channel Master dish
in N Wales with the following results
11462V 3062 (ABS Test Card ) 45% L - 30% Q
11624H 22497 (tippmix -Conax ) 62% L - 62% Q
12739V 13171 (Capri Store) 52% L - 53% Q
No Sig on 11040V 9998 or 10000 here
THIS IS Not a 24/7 Feed which is why you did not get any lock : )Quote:
ABS 3A (3.0°W)
11040 V 10000
MPEG 4 - 4:2:0 - HDTV
ID: UKI 1755 Burnley v Fulham
Feed was only Active for that EPL Match then signal Left again : )
Need to check tomorrow @ 2:45pm - 17:00pm UK Time then you may well get a lock if signal is not very reduced .
