    Question loopthrough

I've got motorised tm 1500 ci+ and would like another receiver in the back room connected to the main receiver in the lounge.
How does this loopthrough work if i run a cable from output connection from the back of the main receiver and connect to input in the 2nd receiver will the second receiver be able to move the dish in the same way as the main receiver?
can they both be on at same time ?
    thanx

if the channel on the 2nd box is on the same sat and same polarity (if using a universal lnb) it will work, i use 3 boxes to watch 3 art channs at same time ,using loop

Instead of using the 'loop through' and being forced to watch the same channels on a particular transponder (eg only V OR H )......... why not just use a Twin Output LNB and that way you can watch independent channels on the same satellite instead??

Both receivers could use the same data (if there the same model range), so you could use both in the same way.
