Medion GoPal E3240 map updates wanted

The maps on my Medion GoPal E3240 are out of date.
I have looked on the Medion website but the only map updates they do include Europe and, more drastically, cost £79.99; also they don't appear to be compatible with the E3240.
As all I want is UK and ROI it would be cheaper to buy a new satnav.
Does anybody know where I can obtain updates for this device at a resonable cost?

On German nav forums you can downl maps for gopal 5xx and 6xx.
They are not compatible for Gopal 5 you need 5xx maps and for Gopal 6xx the 6xx maps .
I have also a E 3240 and use tomtom /igo /Navigon and gopal with it.
(this a wince5 nav other soft works also on it)

Thanks for the info. Maxhum. Apologies for not replying earlier but I had given up checking this thread – didn't think I’d get any replies.

I've done extensive 'googeling' and the only soft. I can find is Miopocket. Followed the instructions for the Medion (it's only 2 lines) and it didn't work.

If you have any links to an idiots guide on how to hack the software it would be greatly appreciated.
