VU & Crossepg problem

You are using BH 2.0.8 ?
YES.

Have a new usb which you have formatted using the format wizard within BH ?
YES, 8GB.

You have mounted the USB ?
YES.

You have a swap file ?
YES, 256meg which is the maximum size offered to me.
I made the swap file on the usb stick. Is that right?

You have a HDD fitted ?
Yes, 1TB and mounted and has been used many times to record and view programs.

I think I will reflash BH 2.08 image tomorrow and start afresh.

I would hazard a guess that I have one or more corrupt files because of the problems I have had with crossepg.

2.0.9 is being tested so wait.
Personally I would suggest the HDD for epg with your Duo but a swap file is still needed.
Setup you epg before you add any other plugins.

the B/Hole menu.
2.0.8 Update to 2.0.8.1.
I Updated through B/Hole
3 weeks back.

Have you anything running
with Crossepg.

I must already have the 2.08.1 update as there is no update available for me.

I am running crossepg and the standard epg that is built in.

I have now done a fresh install (last night) and it seems to be running ok although the crossepg update does take some considerable time.
I have a swap file on a usb stick and have the crossepg stuff on my hard drive.

Been using crossepg for quite a while now. I have found that you need to delete the crossepg files on your usb stick regularly before updating with the latest epg data. If you don't then it doesn't load the epg data properly OR the data takes an absolute eternity to update.
