    New Predator Firmware

For anyone who isn't aware, new firmware is now available via HTTP upgrade for the HitechBox HB9000.

The firmware is PREDATOR_HitechBox9000_2019.06.27 .bin and there are some new graphics. The options still seem to be the same and some still don't work. An extra menu item on the Upgrade & Backup menu is Stalker Upgrade, but this doesn't seem to work.

There is some other firmware that hasn't previously been available to download. This is HitechBox9000_64_2018.10.25.bin but this didn't work for me as log ins failed on MY TV and VOD Cinema etc.

I'd obviously thought about the update files we used to have for the good old Dragon cams!

The My TV IPTV function doesn't work properly on the latest Predator firmware for me, so I have reverted to older firmware and MY TV works much better.

A bit like London buses, you wait for ages and then a load turn up at once. Today there are 2 new versions of firmware for the HitechBox 9000 and 3 new versions for the HitechBox 9900.

THe new versions for the 9000 are:

    ALBANIA_HitechBox9000_2019.07.01. bin
    and
    SOMSAT_HitechBox9000_2019.07.01.b in

I've downloaded the ALBANIA version and MY TV is working as it should.

Downloaded and installed the Predetor upgrade yesterday and by and large things are working as before. One thing I noticed is that the iptv lists that I had intalled in the Box previous to the upgrade disappeared.
Luckily I had copies, so I simply reinstaled them.

Version 2.3.65 firmware for HitechBox 9000 is now available via HTTP download. It seems to work fine, but I can't see any differences as yet.

I have just downloaded the,{ Predetor upgrade version},it installed to the very end then started the reboot, now my box is bricked.

I have tried the repair tool,as all i am getting on the screen is OPEN FILE FAILED.

I have reformated the stick fat 32,reinstalled a fresh rom_file.

I am stuck as to what to do next.
    Any help Please.

Difficult to suggest a different approach since you appear to have followed the iems listed in the Recovery file:
Unless blackdevil can come up with alternative(s) I suggest you repeat the steps over and over until the box finally responds.

    Good luck!

There was a previous thread where a person had a similar problem and it seems they were unable to resolve the problem

    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...nnot-reload-it

The main suggestion seems to be to try a different USB stick.

Thank you all for your replies.

I have tried all your suggestions.

I have never had a problem before, in fact, on the forum in the past i posted step by step instructions on how i restored the box to the original state.

I dont know if this will give someone a clue, this is what is coming up on the screen after i keep pressing the okay button, the blue light starts flashing on my usb stick, then this is what appears on the screen, (Download from USB)-(Open File Fail!).

In the past when the blue light was flashing on my USB stick, i just left it and the repair started .

Hello, I have used my HD9000 for a few years now and I am more into the IPTV side now rather than satellite.
I have a few channels working but reading recent posts I want to do an HTTP upgrade , I see Albania and Preditor mentioned , which works best ?
In the last few months my IPTV list has shown changes . This weekend 'the world ' has disappeared and ' VIP' has returned , can anyone explain please.
What is the way to save the IPTV list before I try an upgrade ?

I think it makes sense to use the latest Albania firmware. That's what I am using.

Yes, the 'World' section of MY TV isn't there at the moment. I think this is because the channels stopped working. The VIP section has always been there for me.

As far as I know you can't save the IPTV lists from MY TV. They come up the same with new firmware, so it's not an issue.

Thanks, I asked about the IPTV list because I read a post that someone had saved it , but I could not see how it could be done .

You can load and save IPTV lists in the M3u player and I assume this was what the other poster was referring to.

    Not clear what that means.
I have now successfully loaded the latest Albania file , there are some new formats .
Looking at the various icons I get portals then username 1111 and password 2222 comes up , I hit login some activity loading and then back to portals so I guess this does not work .
Another query should I do a factory default reset ?
