As the one in the thread is no longer on the file site. I am trying to download USA maps however 1.10 version wont let me. Gets stared then pauses straight away.

Come to conclusion that TT have updated their software on the Playstore meaning we can no longer get the apk patch to work any more!
I foolishly thought I'd uninstall/reinstall Playstore app & re-apply patch as per instructions - but that's when I get told it's now incompatible!
Sorted it now - uninstalled last attempt via S10 Apps manager - reinstalled from Playstore etc etc - followed FULL instructions from provider, applied correct apk patch - and so far so good & working again!
New map update to v160 now available today
It's actually version 1060 - and I downloaded it on Tuesday 1st December! It does state that it's valid for '50 days' - unlike the 'lifetime' it used to be for originally!
Not sure what's gone wrong with yours but mine is certainly working o.k, don't forget that sometimes 50 days will show on the map screen but if you leave it for a few seconds it will disappear and be lifetime.
You can also go into settings and choose the upgrade option, then straight back out, which will set the map. I have installed on a Galaxy S8+ and a Galaxy S5.

Cheers mate, yes I get the same with the 50 days - always thought was bit odd, but least it still keeps going ok eh? My current phone is Galaxy S10 5G, so obviously good androids?

Use at your own risk obvsInstall instruction:
1) Install APK and do not start!
2) Copy file "main.17.com.tomtom.gplay.navapp. nds.obb" to the folder "com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds" here: Android/obb/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds
3) Start application
