Vu+ Duo2 unable to connect to VUCC

I’ve flashed the box with Open Blackhole 5 and I’m really struggling to get the box to connect to either VUCC or FileZilla. I can connect to Openwebif though.

I’ve updated from a 2015 Vix image that I have no problems with (apart from it being really old) The network settings are the same but for some reason I just can’t connect. I’m using TP link home plugs the same as I’ve always been using.

I can see the box if I log into the router too.

If I restore back to the Vix image it all works!

I’m running out of ideas now. Am I stuck with this Vix image ��

Have you added a password. to your VU+ receiver?
You can do this via the network menu, password, it is needed to use any utilities, like Filezilla.

No, I haven’t added any passwords.

If I go back to the old image Vucc and FileZilla both connect.

That's because they're the old python 2 image, on newer images you need to add a password. It only takes a minute, and can be anything, even your first name. You then put this password in the various utilities, instead of leaving the field empty.
