Just for info they seem to send the new keys every 30 mins at 10 to and 20 past the hour, so if you try to update just before these times then you will only be waiting a few mins to get a key update.

It depends upon where your EMM UA is situated in the loop.
Last time I looked (a couple of years ago) the whole UA space took around 40-45 minutes to complete. There was then a break of about 10-15minutes before the whole cycle started again.
If you have a number of UAs distributed evenly throughout the range you can reduce the wait time. The range used to be 002xxxxx to 006xxxxx.
This regime may have changed a little.
The current EMM loop cycle takes about 43 minutes. This will be the maximum time to wait for AU if you only have one EMM key.
